QUOTE (EternalLurker @ May 12 2010, 03:59 PM) quotecSince you're talking about Justice, I might as well point out An's original take on things. On the developer forum, where An posted all his ideas for future tarots long before even the first game came out, Justice's "equality" aspect utilized stats. For example, her Defense and Resist as well as the Defense and Resist of her opponent all equal 0 when she enters combat (doesn't affect field attacks), and her Soulburst, in addition to dealing heavy damage, sets the higher of the target's Power and Magic equal to the lower stat (so an opponent with 38 Power and 5 Magic ends up with 5 Power and 5 Magic, or vice verse).'Course, that doesn't mean this'll be the case in the final product, which is why I'm mentioning it; An didn't have the system fully fleshed out at the time, so balance hadn't been considered yet, and plus now Neraine's Rave Dancer perk does something like that anyway with regard to setting all defensive stats to 0. After all, in the same topic the Lovers' original aura was "Essence of Emotion", which basically gave all units HM's Berserk ability, and their original perk was Energy Link. (The Hanged Man and Emi hadn't been designed yet.) They also had a field tech which was the reverse of Soul Bond in that the Lovers would mimic an ally's attributes rather than the other way around. That would've been ridiculously overpowered, of course.QuoteEndQuoteEEndOh snap! That mean you probly read the overall-story thread and know the whole story behind the game lol. Anyway, I just want to say everything are subjects to changes.

robably. That's up to An to decide. Maybe none of them will be and the other two secondary characters will both be yellow. Which brings up another point: while she isn't a tarot, Emi is still a player character and probably makes up for the lack of yellow tarots in Dt

I was given the impression that white was something that was dangerous and widely unused. After all, the characters who have only white abilities are Esis and Reciful, of all people. Gelyan has two white abilities, but one of them saps his health.PS- I just remembered that Chio also uses only white abilities, so I guess my analysis flops. /tongue.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":P" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" />(EL) Not necessarily. Chio just spent quite a bit of time in her insane plant form.

Here is what white damage is...White damage is powerful magic drawing power from any source other than Ice, Fire and Lightning. White damage is usually effective against Black Nature characters. Most White damage abilities carry a secondary effect. It is also rarer than other types of damage.EDIT: I feel that the world is going to white nat

Then what are the odds that there will be pure heal tarot? I'd love to see green-natured tarot....But then again, heal-only tarot isn't as useful in-game than HT, which was tank+healer+buffer. So I guess there won't be green nature after

But I did notice that blue has been used for color of healing. Another example other than what you mentioned is Cure from early FF games... I think it turned back to green towards the later series, but I don't quite pay attention to something that I use more than billion times in a single game...But going back to favorite tarot... mine still didn't change. That sounds more like status cure to me... green looks more like healing, because it usually represents nature (i guess poison in some cases as well.), which represents rejuvenation and cure.QuoteEndQuoteEEndPurity and cleansing are catalysts for healing. /tongue.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":P" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" /> It depends on style of play, and I find them all very, very useful. The High Priestess with healing and power buffing and balanced stats. The Magician is a great battery during the early part of the game, with high magic near the end and reasonable endurance. The Fool has weak stats, more or less balanced, and takes extra damage from magic, but plasma solstice and castling make up for it. The Death is a tank, and specials + perks make her a good shield. Her soul ritual is really good, and iron maiden is good against high defense enemies, with Vampirism and Essence of Sorrow good for weakening. The Hanged Man has good endurance, Pain Eater, Dark Gravity, and Last exile are awesome. The Lovers......I have no idea, but the stats, perks and attacks shown are good. Death sounds to be the best, but is kind of useless when attacking high magic attack enemies, because she dies kind of fast. If Nera, Gely, and Sisi can survive the earlier rounds without The Death, I'm pretty sure they can survive later.(Exception is Tale Memory).P.S.
