f we are (still?) talking about tarots for the future here, I must request that Justice, the Hermit, Temperance, the Devil, the Wheel of Fortune, the Chariot, the Heirophant, Judgement, Strength, and the Empress not be used. I know it's a lot to ask for, but I want to use previously unused tarots for the new characters in my fanfic. The heirophant and the wheel of fortune are less important, but I hope my words will be heeded, if heard. (Will they? Definitely not. Oh we

Still Mokona, I think it be TOO big a stretch to ask An to do that, cause...yeah...'Sides, like Roamer said, he's working on Wings of Ge.Ne.Sis (which, he mentioned about two-three months ago, is about 40% complete), so he's not concerned with Into The Rabbit Hole yet.Still too big a stretch to request for that, that's like the ice-cream man to only have certain flavors available cause you want em. I know, random example, but it fits!

Since the fanfic is all based on your interpretation, you could use whatever Tarots you want, and An wouldn't really give a flying hoot about how you used them. If he has any problem with the way you use them, then he'll tell you, but other than that, I don't think you and him using the same Tarots will have any negative effect on each other.I'm pretty much just going to town with the Tarots in my story; if they don't turn out the same way An does them, then that's fine. It's my fanfic, so it's my interpretat

'Course, that doesn't mean this'll be the case in the final product, which is why I'm mentioning it; An didn't have the system fully fleshed out at the time, so balance hadn't been considered yet, and plus now Neraine's Rave Dancer perk does something like that anyway with regard to setting all defensive stats to 0. After all, in the same topic the Lovers' original aura was "Essence of Emotion", which basically gave all units HM's Berserk ability, and their original perk was Energy Link. (The Hanged Man and Emi hadn't been designed yet.) They also had a field tech which was the reverse of Soul Bond in that the Lovers would mimic an ally's attributes rather than the other way around. QUOTE (EternalLurker @ May 12 2010, 07:59 AM) quotecSince you're talking about Justice, I might as well point out An's original take on things. On the developer forum, where An posted all his ideas for future tarots long before even the first game came out, Justice's "equality" aspect utilized stats. For example, her Defense and Resist as well as the Defense and Resist of her opponent all equal 0 when she enters combat (doesn't affect field attacks), and her Soulburst, in addition to dealing heavy damage, sets the higher of the target's Power and Magic equal to the lower stat (so an opponent with 38 Power and 5 Magic ends up with 5 Power and 5 Magic, or vice verse).'Course, that doesn't mean this'll be the case in the final product, which is why I'm mentioning it; An didn't have the system fully fleshed out at the time, so balance hadn't been considered yet, and plus now Neraine's Rave Dancer perk does something like that anyway with regard to setting all defensive stats to 0.
