Ge.Ne.Sis SWF Complications

After so many years of repeatedly enjoying the game, I wanted to try and preserve it for myself in case of whatever... So I got the SWF (from Armor games, that is...) via the source code, yet, just like previous attempts revealed, it doesn´t play in my browser (IE) or SWF file player. I can hear the music, but no video (title menu) at all. Is this a common problem? Said method usually works perfectly well with other Flash Games from the site. Does anyone have recommendations for further actions?

That's a common anti-theft mechanism designed to ensure the SWF isn't run anywhere other than an authorized site.

I see. In that case, I´ll have to apologize. The older discussion thread named "Help downloading Ge.ne.sis" from 2012-14 made it seem like this was common practice for offline playing back in the days. Mea culpa.
