Hi everyone, just want to say thank you for continue interests in my work and the game!

Lot of people had been wondering if I'm still alive. It had been an eventful 5 years, and here is the TLDR version:+ Graduated=> Met Girl=> Love girl=> Got kid=> Needed Stable Job=> Found Job=> Liked Job=> Worked Hard

Between work and family, the game development had to take a back seat and had been progressing slowly. As technology changes, I also decided to switch from Flash to better platform (Unity), and that took a good year. The next game is not dead nor forgotten, it is just coming along very slowly.

I'm hoping to have prototype available by next year end. I haven't decided how to distribute the game. It is most likely will be available on steam though, and i will give free copies for fan of the original Ge.ne.sis game on my mailing list when it is ready to come out.

Again, thank you for all the love, supports, and emails that you all sent me over the year. I read every single one of them and they meant a lot and they kept me going. I also come and lurk in the forum every now and then. It is just getting harder and harder to give an update as time goes by because there was so little progress and I hated to disappoint you all. At the end of the day though, i figure a late update iis better than not saying anything. I will keep it real with you guys on the progress of the game.

I will be better at giving you all update the forum, the blog and the facebook page. However, I want to be honest, updates will be sparse. I have very little free time, and when I do, i rather put the time i have into making the game.If you want to reach me, the best way would be posting to the facebook page. It is linked to my phone, so it is where I check most often. Again, I can't promise that I will answer every time, but i will make sometime every month to go over facebook post and drop in updates whenever I can.https://www.facebook.com/1manstudio.net/

Thank you all.

am a very happy man right

this was a very nice holiday surprise.well, time to get the fanart train chugging again once i get my tablet back. !!!also, game development is unsurprisingly not too exciting in the early stages. an entire game of this size by a single dev is an astronomically huge undertaking, understandable that progress would be slow. especially with a new engine to learn....it'll be worth the wait. you just keep doing you. been waiting 5+ years already, a few more won't hurt, time fl

It has been FAAR too long since I last checked in, and I will do so more frequently now that I know that you still live XDDD. Glad to see that you will be slowly working on the game again.Personally, I have seen other flash games get revamped into Steam game before, it makes a lot more sense for second and later chapters of Ge.Ne.Sis to be sold as a game: it would certainly give you an excuse to continue the project (as well as an incentive). I would love it if you had a sort of packaged deal, though, as in 2nd Chapter coming with polished version of first so that I can have a complete set rather than needing to browse through Armor Games or whatnot to find your game

tw, nowadays, Mobile apps become very popular. I wonder if you are planning to make a mobile app game about Ge.ne.sis. You got a really nice and unique art st

patrickng9 I don't have a plan for making it available at the momment on mobile, but the game is built on an engine which makes it easier to port if we want to in the future, (after PC/MAC Release).

I AM SO HAPPY YOU'RE STILL ALIVE YOU HAVE NO IDEA. I have been in love with Ge.Ne.Sis. for YEARS and was so excited for the sequel and then you disappeared and I was like "what do I do with my life now?????" But you're alive and making the second game and your life seems to be great so what more could I ask for now? :D

dianartemis Aww. That's really sweet. Thank you for the continued support, Diana

I know I'm late but it's so nice to see you again. It might not mean much but I'm really happy to see/hear from you again. To be honest, Ge.Ne.Sis was one of the first flash games I ever played and I really fell in love with it. it catapulted me into my flash game phase and got me into gaming. Anyways thanks for the great memories I had years ago and its amazing to hear you again.

orion17 Thank you so much for the kind words. It really made my day!

Can't say I was expecting the forums to still be somewhat alive and the game dev active when I checked on a whim. Thanks for the games, they're really fun to play.

When im too bored to play an actual title i like to play old games on kongregate that i grew up with, I randomly happened to click on the developer blog in wings of Genesis and im really happy to have learned that you are still alive!(And you got a nice life too, good for you :) ). I'm excited for your next release, take your time, we have waited enough we can wait more.

Yes! I knew all those animal sacrifices would eventually work (I'm kidding!)!

I'm rather surprised to see a definitive date. I'd say that switch out of Flash was probably a good call. Seems like Adobe will eventually drop it altogether in a few years (I think it was 2020). How has your ideas for the game evolved over the years?

I was a big poster (and a mod! I imagine I don't have those privileges anymore lol) back in the day. I was just struck with nostalgia and decided to see what was happening in these parts, and I'm so glad to see things are up and running and updated. It's nice to have you back! Congrats on the family! As always, I'm looking forward to what you create next.
