But I wonder what happened to Gely and Nera's weapons. Gely had some fancy gun, and Nera's swords were blue. It would be nice to know where they went. But I can't wait to try out Into the Rabbit Holes! The combat system seems really cool. I wonder about it!

hey got transformed into something else while going through the timeline? For Gelyan, he's going to have Trigger Happy replaced since he has some type of liquid shooting flintlock. Soul Pact, Jelly Shot, and possibly Armor Crusher will work will that gun, but you can't really auto on a flintlock. Also, Gely looks like some type of British wild explorer. I wonder how Sisi and Emi looks l

After all, it's a new, almost completely different combat system.

And since it's a different weapon, I doubt it would have the same attacks. At least, not all the same o

ell, now I know. But mix the hi-fantasy universe of Ge.Ne.Sis with a modified Flintlock half of Gely's height, and anything can happen with that gun. Ge.Ne.Sis is not meant to be real, so trigger happy with a flintlock is actually possible. Sisi is playing baseball with electric balls with a most likely metal cleaver, and can teleport all over the place. Gely is shooting so hard so fast he slightly flies off his feet (trigger happy), Nera can freeze from a distance and slash very well from ridiculous angles... The list goes

t definitely seems like they get different weapons as they traverse timelines. Nera's swords are now metal as opposed to ice-crystal things in DtRoT. Does this mean that Sisi now has a weapon that she can feasibly lift as opposed to the Warp Blade that was larger than hers

I'm going to start working on Down the Road of Tales, the true sequel of the Original Genesis. As stated many time before, I'm planning to revamp the battle system but keep the genre as Tactical RPG. Before I finalize the design of the game, it is time for you all to give your input!Let me know what do you expect to see in Down the Road of Tales such as features, characters, ideas etc...This is an open discussion thread and all contribution will be carefully considered.QuoteEndQuoteEEndDoes the revamp apply only to the sequel or is the original getting one too. I though the original was getting a revamp

It would be nice keeping the old weapons on the characters. Yes, even Reciful's 1 atom-thin-edged umbrella /dry.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="<_<" border="0" alt="dry.gif" /> . But I don't mind going to weapons on Wings of Ge.Ne.Sis. Except the carrot launcher. /tongue.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":P" border="0" alt="tongue.gif"

QUOTE (FreakyFred @ Jan 12 2011, 07:09 AM) quotecIs there anything wrong with the warp blade? I actually like it. I wouldn't like to see it go. It was the first combat weapon I saw in a game that had such a sophisticated design, not to mention the spinning thing at the end of the hilt. My one beef with it is that it's larger than Sisily, so she can't logically life it on her own.I suppose that lends some more mystical qualities to the blade, like a certain weightlessness, but it just doesn't jell in my hea
