Having said that...I consider myself to be a fairly "strong" reader in the sense that I can Textual and Essential analysis on texts in a reasonably short amount of time. However, that's only for more serious texts. If it's a novel or some kind of epic poem, then I'll read it purely for the enjoyment of reading it and immersing myself in the story. I can get wrapped up in a good book pretty easily, thanks to my idiosyncratic ADD. (It's not really attention deficiency... I can't concentrate on certain things, and I get completely focussed on others... It's weird. EDIT: I have just remembered a book with a similarity to Ge.ne.sis, albeit less fanciful and more into concrete areas. It's about two kids who go back in time using a strange machine for dark matter, I think. The machine instead sent them back to 1800's England, where a trail of adventure, new friends, an enemy, and a machine that could spell Apocalypse for the world, and all alternate ones. That is a very slight overview, and spans 3 books. It's around 6th grade level, give or take 1 grade, and I read it before playing Ge.ne.sis. The concept is similar, although the plot isn'
