I do think, tough, that "An is testing us" could only work so far. How many years of pleading could it take for valve to do something based on it? Anyway, wouldn't turn an indie game into mass production ruin its most special trait? I'm unsure if a team of professionals can really do what the mighty An did all by himself. Also, the forum's name would have to change.But there's one thing I didn't get: You say, A_Pwner, that it would be "considered too generic by adults". Now follow my logic: Would the game designers really consider much an adult (even if it is their own) opinion over a game? This still is a teen market, after all. If it sells, there's gonna be tons of it (think of zombie games). Wheter Ge.ne.sis would sell or not, well that's another prob

I personally think it has something to do with the genre: If you're looking for a good RPG, rarely people will indicate you a flash game. But if you want ye olde goomba squeezing style, there are lots of flash games that fill the bill (such as fancy pants). If you ask "I want something new", they'll probbly ask you if you ever played portal. If Ge.Ne.Sis could, by any chance, became an online MMORPG, it would get all the love it deserves. But suggestions for games probably rain in the desks of those companies, so a collapsing and pleading forum isn't likely to catch their attent
