PlotThe character's lack the development in this game, they kinda feel bland. The main characters' relationships and personalities have grown since the last time we saw them but, their experience on the island haven't seemed to continue that growing. This made it more difficult for me to grab onto a character and say "oh hey, I can relate to how you are feeling." The issue is that they seem to have problems showing their emotions, unlike the original. Yeah, the flirting between gely and nera is cute but, it feels comic reliefish. I think if you are going to make another hybrid RPG, you should give a little more depth. The storyline itself is confusing, since we have little to no information on Gen, the Wardens, Esis, their main goal, etc. I think when the sequel comes out this will be solved. And besides a little ambiguity is nice. Furthermore, the ending kinda just ends; it doesn't feel like a cliffhanger, it feels like the end, nothing more. Again, I think this will be fixed when the others come out. Basically, at the moment the story is holey. I think a recap at the start is necessary, many people on kongregate have not played the original so, they have no insight on the 'world of genesis'. We're not playing the Final Fantasy series where the story lines are separate, you should accommodate the clueless. This can be easily solved with a little text vaguely describing their adventure. What happened to the other 3 Zodiac members. I was excited to see how you portrayed Capricorn, but he just wasn't there. It was disappointing that we didn't get to see all 12. GameplayAbsolutely addicting. Due to the stat/upgrading/equipment systems the game has a giant replay value. I find myself still trying to perfect my characters. For example, this Friday I went to Kempa at whitewater, scholastic journalism conference, and spent sessions 1 and 3 planning my weekend build attempts. (I didn't do it during session 2 because John Tinker was speaking. Got to give respect, to a historical man. I got his autograph too. <3) Back to the point. While there were little issues they have already been mentioned so, I'm not going to repeat them. Artistry/music/etcThe scenery is lush and elegant. The characters are detailed and lovely. The beasts left me in awe. This world you have created has such personality that, all I want to do is stare at it. It is magnificent, it's just so dream-like. I don't think i need to comment on how the world you have created make the mood serious yet, whimsical. Let's not forget that the music perfectly complements the scenery. Not too dramatic, not too playful. It's the perfect combination. Caleb has done it again. The Soundtrack is absolutely gorgeous. Concluding thoughtsWhile the game had it's quirks, I found myself thoroughly enjoying the game. The gameplay kept me hooked and the story kept me wondering. It's not the best flash game in the world but, it has many redeeming qualities and is very high quality. I found artistry in the game brilliant. From the scenery details, to the beasts attacks. (Also did anyone else notice that in the fight with gen, I think, the background was that snow white picture that was on the site.) Overall, the game reminded me of all the things I love in the original.

I expected consistent storyline. Not big and complicated but consistent. I agree with Josh - something is wrong. I was playing part 1 two times, and still I'm not sure what this heart is, how it is working, wich side Gen, Gelyan and Reciful is, why they decided to help Reciful, who is Gen, how so many agents can jump in and why we didn't found any other agents in I, how was possible for Gelyan to change sides one more time (no, just NO, his personality from I are not giving to him any chanse of this) and, most important for me, i really really can't believe that he was plannig this all time. In I it was possible, now it is not.Sorry for my bad English, it is not my main languageand yes, Ge.Ne.Sis is my favorite flash game e

don't really see an issue with gely's second betrayal. My issue is there is nothing building up to it, literally the only hint we get that he is going to do that is his talk with esis. Which, really, just makes the storyline seem choppy. I mean it's did its job, but nothing m

Like, in the first game, his "plan" should be like that:1. Pretend to be attacked by carrot-shooting monsters and having no gun or tarot to deal with them.2. Somehow get the gun without anyone noticing that. Build good relationships with some unknown (to that world) girls.3. Find the book.4. Know that the book will be given to some completely unknown girls to solve the problem with some monster. (which means he knows those girls pretty well too, so they will ask for it instead of just leaving the monster to die)5. Get away with the book without explaining why did he do that.6. Explain why did he do that. Be _surprised_ that girls are not bad with that plan, so they didn't need to be rivals with them in the first place. (which means that he doesn't know anything about those girls)7. Say that he was planning all that even before he met those girls.Same thing with the second one:1. Know that bad guys will be in time to open all seals except the last one. (without joining them)2. Make a group with some girls to try to prevent them from doing that. (instead of joining, you know, his collegues. He betrayed both sides once at that point, so it shouldn't be harder anyway)3. Know that Esis will find them just in the right time, that his group's power would be enough to stop the bad guys.4. Know that he will be able to release the last seal easily, noone will stop him from doing that.5. Say that he was waiting for that moment _for eight years_. (I know that it doesn't mean he was planning all that for eight years, but I mean that he wanted a moment like that even before the start of the first game, which makes his first plan even more illogical)But honestly, I think those plots were just not intended to take them seriously. It's just some light story about 2 girls and 1 boy who travel and save worlds (at least trying to), and that's not the main part of those games anyway.(See? I didn't use any Death Note/Code Geass/ 1. Smth 2. ??? 3. PROFIT references in that whole post! /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif"

EDIT: I mean i guess i could make sense in Gely was thinking if i betray them once they wont expect it a second time. Even then, why does he need sisi and nera? can understand Esis and Gen but not sisi and nera. He is perfectly capable of breaking all the seals. There are so many questions that game created. And i mean Wings is a good game, with an okay storyline, but the there are so amny holes in the story, thus far. Don't ge me wrong though, the hole most likely will be solved. I just think it was a bad choice to skip the second one, it makes everything unnessicarly complica
