/coloroOkay, my first attempt at being a critic of a game... I hope this goes well. The graphics in the game are fine, I saw what 86 said about ForeGround objects getting in the way but to be honest, I never really noticed that, so for me I got no problem with the looks... apart from Sisily's cyborg eye. It just does NOT suit her... nor does the massive rocket launcher thing really. Okay, lets have a detailed looking into character desgin shall we?First up, the first character ever to appear in Ge.ne.sis. Neraine. Who likes the other main three has changed quite a lot. The white dress/suit fits her quite well, and it complemented by the purple as well, her hair is alright and I can just see her attitude in her face. In fact, the only thing I don't like about her is her weapons (I think you'll find that it is the weapons I don't like most of the time.) Compared to what they where in the original Gen.Ne.Sis they are just too high-tech. Admittedly, they are quite cool looking and they suit Neraine's new look... but they just don't really fit her well. I see Neraine as a fighter that uses only her self-ability to fight, whenever that's speed, or strength, or magic or even Tarot. All of it is completely her own skill (well, she will have the blades.) but just doesn't use tech to help her fight.Second is my favrioute of the three characters. Gelyan.... Just what on earth have you done? In the first one, he really suited his character, a son of a lawyer that hangs out with gang-memebers. This version of him... well he doesn't look like a city boy at all. That hat to me just screams country, as does his boots and trouses. The coat is one for a rich person yes, but its still not really a city coat... and where can I start with his weapon? In the first game it was small, compact and a gun... in this one through, its big. Huge even, no where near compact plus its a crossbow... a huge change from the gun. Oh and the gun was pretty simple, while the crossbow is extremely flamboyant... through thinking about it, that does suit Gelyan's personaility doesn't it?And finally (I can't really comment of the designs for the other characters, as I they haven't changed.) we come to Sisily. Who I have already commented on, not liking her new eye, no liking the big whooping rocket launcher she's got. (Which is almost looking like its part of her arm, as in replaced her hand.) Her dress however, really suits her... and I'm afriand, that's all I can say on her. Now, there is a lot more I can say on this gam... but I'm going to leave it here now, and see what you think of my comments so far. If you want me to, I will continue and talk more about the game play. colorc/co

eeing as all you talked about so far was character design, I think you should continue it, if only to show exactly what you think of the game. I only disagree with your assessment of Shining Sunny. I think that the rocket launcher suits Sisily's character perfectly: the childish one with the huge wea

/coloroI thank you for your comment Mokona and what you have said about the 'Shinning Sunny' has made me think... however, I still Sisisly to be more of a sword mage really, with a lot of power. I just don't think that the missle launcher fits her in my opinion as much as he big sword in Ge.Ne.Sis did. Also I will prefer to wait to see An syas before continuing my feedback.Again, thank you for commentingcolorc/co

/coloroNo problem An, after all we both want the game to be good and without review's, you can't improve can you?Anyway, onto the next section... gameplay.Your idea of the Spirit Beast not being able to be hit is a good one as the spirit beast's are all different shapes and sizes so it wouldn't be unfair if the Spirit Beast would be hit as some would get damaged more than others. However just as 86com said, it does not feel 100% natural for only the rider to be hit. I can think of two reasons for this.1. The Spirit Beasts are so solid looking that one in inclidned (I can't spell...) to think they are solid even if in the game they are not. A way to fix this would be to make the Spirit Beasts more transparent. Tihs way they look less solid and more spiritual at the same time.2. The hitbox for the rider can be quite confusing at time as it is hard to acautly see when they would get hit or not. I believe that there was a suggestion of them having an aura of some kind so you can see the hitbox, thus making it a lot easier to avoid... and in Nightmare, this aura can be get completely rid off.Another things I don't like praticular about the gameplay is the fact that you press one button to change your primary attack. This makes sense completely but I just find it hard to get used to as in my experience when I have mutlpule weapons each weapon has a different number so if for quite some time I kpet pressig 2 expect the other weapon but acautly using my beast's specail attack. Maybe you could change things a little so the rider's two main attacks are 1 and 2 respectivly and move all of the other numbers up? Oh and I don't know why, but I have trouble remembering at times that the tabs that show your items aren't clickable, you could make them clickable and when they are clicked they are used. Also, I have found an abusable fact that can be used in the gameplay... and that is the pause button. When facing Leo (and permentaly being frozen) I pressed the pause button when he began his blade attack. I was suprised when the animation of the attack continued and yet I took no damage whatsoever, meaning I completely and utterly avoided the attack. I am sad to say that I did end up abusing this even when I was no longer getting permentaly rooted to a spot by Leo. I even ended up using it against Gen, waiting him to fire all of his lasers, pausing moving my mouse to the bottem (or top) of the screen and completely avoiding them. I am afraid I can offer no suggestions in how to stop this from being abused but I think it is best to let you know of this. And that is it for now, school's about to begin so I best be off. Next time, I will be talking more about the other ascpects of the gameplay, not just what can be found in the missions.Edit: Oh and I got a question... can I create a character for Ge.Ne.Sis? I plan to create him in the way you did your character profiles in the game guide off the original Ge.ne.sis game... of course I don't expect to see him in the Ge.Ne.Sis games... but can I make him and you can tell me what you think?colorc/co
