First off, how do you go from a tbs to a sidescroller game. Why not make another tbs? Overall, this is a change for the better, because the game plays a lot better than the first one. The controls are hidious. I played the game on Kongregate, so whenever I move the mouse off of the game accidentally, I get stuck and take damage. I hate sidescrollers that use the mouse to move, mostly because of that stuff. I prefer WASD, so at least have a choice in controls. The plot makes no sense to me. To me, someone who missed half of the first game, I can barely piece the plot together. What I remember is that Gelyan stabs Neraine and Sisily in the back, to somehow prolong the apocalypse, but Gelyan's friend double crosses the three and that is where I got stuck. Now, the three are going stop the creator, from doing, well... whatever and they are alongside a woman named Esis, who looks more ridiculous than any other character in the series. Seriously, why do the characters look so awkward? I don't expect them to as amazing as any other character, but at least resemble how anyone else looks. Then there is the gameplay, which as I said plays bad, but the gameplay is a little redeeming. You can choose your character, which I choose Gelyan, not because I liked him, but because he is the strongest there. You can level up as you play through the game. As well, you can equip items and weapons, but this how you get the weapons; you buy them. You the course of the level, enemies drop gems, which are currency, but you also need to use it to evolve your creature that you ride, so you have to farm all the levels to get everything you want. The bosses and enemies are too easy. They die so easily and don't throw enough projectiles on the screen that I can't dodge any of them. And the hardest enemies are the ones that use laser attacks, only because you cant attack while they fire. However, close to the end of the game, the bosses are unfair. A good example is Libra, which has an attack, were your health is equal to your mana, so you can't use your special attack and if you do, you could kill yourself. Zodiac Memory, the optional boss, is impossible! He doesn't look so hard, but he has an attack that lowers your health to 1. That's not fair. You can't get hit. And if you die at the Zodiac level, you cannot continue at Zodiac, you have to fight the endurance rounds of all the bosses all over again, it becomes tedious. However, there is an item that lowers his health to 75%, so spam that on him and he is just too easy. I tried to avoid doing anything unfair to the game, but I wish the game would not do that. And these attacks that lower your health to nothing are undodgable! They instantly hit you no matter what. That is why the game should not do that!**I talk about the ending next contains SPOILERSThe ending is bad, just bad. I lost track about what I am suppose to be doing in the game, but apparently, I have to kill God or "Gen, the Creator." He is apparently trying to do something like restore to world to it's original state or something. I sounds like a rip off of Tales of Vesperia, where the villain tried to do the same thing, expect he had a motive, not like this. It would probably make more sense if I beat the first game, but come on. At least give me a recap! And Gelyan for some reason completes the villains' plan for reasons unknown. That's it! Cliffhanger. We are done. Wait til next game. I hate those! Did I get the bad ending? Please, someone tell me!The graphics look okay. I like the scenery and stuff, but as I said, the characters look ridiculous. The characters went through a costume change during the game and they look even more stupid. The enemies also look bad, it's impossible to tell what they are trying to be. As well, I went through the game using an attack that looked like I was throwing brussel sprouts. I am not kidding! Also there are arches in the foreground and they can block projectiles that I am trying to dodge. The veridict: 6/10It's decent and it's been a long time since I had played a sidescroller, so I am being generous. Overall, its a Kongregate flash game. What do I expect? But I have played better. Changing the game style was a bad move, I lthought Ge.Ne.Sis was unique, but now I am through with. Ge.Ne.Sis III is gonna be a tower defense and Ge.Ne.Sis IV is gonna be an fps, but more like Doom and less like Halo.

Second, where you left off in DTRoT was pretty much the end of the story. I find it quite sad that you beat Shadow Master, but not Cerberus, who is arguably the easiest endboss ever.Lastly, I don't think it matters that you control your character with the mouse. If you get stuck, you press space. It's that easy.I think you're being way too critical and nitpicking the thing to death. Even if your rating doesn't reflect what you said about the game, and it's different. That's what made the first game good, that's what made this game good, and that's what'll make the next two good.Next time, you might want to try not posting a review like this on a forum of people who liked these ga

P.S. Many people have problems with Cerberus so. You shouldn't say he's the "easiest" boss, when if you actually read the comments on the game, many players had issues fighting

1) I thought that Wings was the second one because I did not keep track of the series. Some numbers would be nice.2) I barely remember the first game and or anything about it really. I do like strategy games, but none unfair ones like Genesis and Wings. Like I said, stupid stuff like ridiculous amount farming and status ailments that reduce your health to nothing, giving you no chance for survival. I suppose I never said why Cerberus was so hard. I was because he attacks twice and he regains health. That's unfair as well. 3) I do nitpick with everything. I have a very fine attention to detail. Small things like horrible aesthetics do piss me off. But seriously, the developer made the game and I am just giving feedback.Anyway, on to Genesis II, which I still believe is Tower Defense...where I just searched Kongregate for and did not find so Mokona is full of

Second of all, Cerberus is no where near impossible. Let us not forget, An made a strategy guide if you got stuck that badly, refer to it. Also, I suggest you read this. It will show you how easy Cerberus can be, if you take advantage of field abilities. P.S. This is not meant to be offensive, I'm just saying there are resources you can use to help and you should stop complain
