So, starting with the list of "what could be done other way":1. The concept of having weak spot only on rider (spirit beast is immortal) is quite confusing. I thought I could get used to it, but even in the end of the game it was not feeling 100% natural.Thoughts: Maybe those beasts could have been drawn more horisontally to evade that feeling. Or there could also be some "aura" glowing thing on the rider so player could evade bullets looking at the bullets, not at the beast.2. Interface details overlay the player, and that feels not very comfortable to go near them (hard to see where the rider starts and ends for better dodging). But that's the most logical spot to go (to have more time to dodge bullets and boss attacks), so it shouldn't be like that.Thoughts: Maybe that part should be rebuilt or placed somewhere else (the latter is not that good, IMHO, the placement was chosen right).3. The same thing with foreground objects - they tend to block view. IF that was not intended that way - it shouldn't be like that. Otherwise it could be considered as advanced difficulty.4. Bonuses that disappear after some seconds. Seriously? I hoped that thing died after 90-s console arcades. Here it makes even less sense, because player must go to the right side of the screen to be sure to collect them, but there he could get shot very easily. And I think it is better to make them auto-collectable at least in some range around rider.5. No recovery time. Like, when you get shot - you can get another shot at you right the next moment, no "3-seconds blinking invincibility". Yeah, I know there is a way to have that in the game, but IMHO it should be by default. Moreover, enemies could kill you with 2-3 shots, and even when you just touched them (which could result to sudden death from full HP). I haven't tested, but I'm pretty sure the last thing makes many problems with using close-range skills.6. The final boss (creator) feels a bit unbalanced. Maybe that's just me, but when I hear about final boss, I imagine good long fight with some skill. There I wasn't able to beat him just by skill - he has attack that I have no clue how to evade (flashing screen) that also turns my beast to some other (so it takes time to figure out what new one do). Though with using "cheat-like-items" like time stopping things I beat him easily. I know those items work as they were supposed to, but I still feel myself cheater there.7. Too many beasts. Like, 20 or something? Too many choices can lead player to frustration if he loses the game and thinks that's because he didn't tested all those things and didn't read about them. And that anyway feels really unnecessary since player doesn't know what beast he is going to get next level (ordinary player doesn't read guides) and those evolution does not seem to mean anything. Like, I could understand if there were crystals of different colors that upgrade the beast in logical way (red make beast fire-based, blue - water-based, green - poison, white - healing, etc), but there player can't make logical evolution choice since he's got only white and black crystals.8. I really don't get the plot. What are those seals? Why is it so bad to open them? I know I'm not supposed to get it entirely, since I haven't seen the ending of the first game, but there I don't even get the ending of this game. Were they all sucked to that "heart" thing? What happened to that universe and other universes? Did they just awake or now they are there forever? 9. There really is no need to say to player "hurry, find the bad guy, before it's too late", considering that this is game with RPG elements, like grinding. It just doesn't feel right when they say me to speed up and I want just to replay the last level a couple of times to get crystals/materials. 10. That borg thing on Sissy's eye is not good choice for character design, IMHO. a ) it doesn't suit her face well. Sissy in first game looked much more nice.b ) it doesn't suit her character. In most cases those things highlight geek/nerd girls, which is clearly not the case here. That's all for now, but if I find any other things I'll add them to this topic as a new message. All the things above are just my personal opinion and thoughts, it is mostly for the developer, so sorry if it was too long. But overall, I repeat, the game is nice. It is certainly above average sidescrolling shooter game and I will sure wait for the next games in the ser

11. Keyboard mapping is not optimal.a ) It could be hard to play on notebooks with touchpad.b ) Numbers after 4 can't be easily accessed. While placing hand on regular WASD it's hard to press 5 and 6 without looking, but if you have 5% hp or less and want to drink potion, you may have no time to look at the keyboard. I think it could be better like that:1-4 usable itemsW - changing attack (like, weapon)E - Beast attack. But dunno how it will be on notebook.A way to redefine keys could be also nice (as was stated at kongregate comments already), but it much better be good by default.12. Minor bug. When pressing a number with empty space, it still provides sound of using item. Confused me once. Will post other things if f

1. I think the shop was a great idea, but some parts were poorly executed. For example, if i want to stock up on Chrono Matter, I have to click the back and forth multiple times. Could you add a dial for the amount the player wants to purchase. Another thing, I think that you should let us sell items, unless you are a completionist (like me), there is no reason to keep old equipment or resources that you will never use. And even if you are a completionist, you generally will still sell old resources if you know you will have no more use fore them. (i.e. I have 11 Aquarius gems that I have no use for because i have already made all the equips that require them.) 2. You have the ability to feed your beast after they evolve, and even your final tier beast. This can be misleading, for example, some players are going to fully feed their phoenix and not get anything in return. This will cause frustration and confusion. They may act in one of two ways, either get angry because they were 'cheated' out of their gems, or be confused and stop playing. I think you should either get rid of the option of feeding after they evolve or add some sort of stat bo

QUOTE quotecAnother thing, I think that you should let us sell itemsQuoteEndQuoteEEndI thought about that too, but I think that's explainable since players can transfer items to the next difficulties, but they should not be able to transfer crystals and exp in any way. That could be avoided by taking only currently equipped items there, though. Or making them unsellable, like "that thing does not belong to this world&qu

nderstandable, but if a player makes all the items I feel he/she should be compensated in some way or another. Even just a medal for making each equipment would help. eah i thought about selling items but there is no easy way to do it so I kept putting it off. Won't you have lot of extra ton after the beast get to lvl5? Need to think of a good way to do it.

don't know; I like to stock up on consumables, even though I never use them. So, my gems do not get too high, but I still have a solid amount of extra resources, which I will never use. It's kinda depressing that I have nothing to do with t

1) Difficulty levels:a ) I dunno if it is right, but it transfered me from pleasant dream (first difficulty) right into nightmare when I choosed to play again. But there it is written that it'll transfer me to the "next" difficulty, so I was expecting playing on "lucid dream".b ) I haven't encountered Infinity Space (long battle with zodiac guardians) on both "pleasant dream" and "nightmare" difficulties with Nera. It just didn't show up.c ) When winning on nightmare, the game just ends. There is a screen with "congratulations", without any other text and buttons. Would be nice to get something more than that for beating the last difficulty.2) Would be good to have a reset stat thingie. Players could achieve level cap even without trying to do that.3) Another nice thing to have - something like big crystals that give you 10 or 25 crystals when you pick them. Because it coul be dissapointment if player killed a big boss and got just 2 crystals (if he/she wasn't lucky enough to get materials).4) Azure Breeze and Crimson Gust (things from shop that make monsters drop crystals of only one type) don't work the whole level long - if you are not fast enough in killing things, they stop working near the end of the level.5) When the level ends, it should automatically collect all the crystals that are on the screen, because it's hard to collect them under "level completed" box.6) Some number in top-left corner of the screen (near "3"), that counts hits or something like that. I assume that's some test number left from debugg
