B. No, Gely is already overpowered. He doesn't need that, maybe if we did what Mokona suggested earlier. Hmmm..

NEW IDEAS:I think that if we beat the game then it could unlock a new mode to play the game. In this mode, you will play the story over again but the battles are different. There could be more monsters in different formations.Umm, a kinda timed battle. Where you have to beat a certain battle in a specific amount of turns. I think it would add a little, uh, difficulty to the game. Oh and to build on this idea, we could have a turn counter at the end of the game. This would encourage players to try and beat their t

I also like the idea for the turn-limited battle. But what about a battle that has a time limit, with no limit on turns? It would be a little meta, sort of like the Holy Egg. I imagine it would be hard to do a battle like that so that it was both challenging and fun, but if it can be done, I think it would be pretty c

t first, I was going to suggest that, but i then thought, what if someone has a slow computer and the game lags. They might have a more difficult time doing that. So overall, I think a turn-limited battle would be safer; i can see the appeal of time limited tho

A thing like this is about how you want the game to be viewed. I think ge.ne.sis is slightly on the casual side, so I think it more casual for a set number of turns rather than a timer. If it were a more of a, umm, hard-core RPG I would go for a timer. The timer really just forces you to think on your toes; not something commonly approved by a casual gamer. I mean your going to find some that love the timer and some that hate it. At this point, unless a stronger reason to have the timer comes up, I dislike the i

I don't see the point of a timer on just one battle, it's all or none. Casual players like the feeling of completion too, i consider myself to be fairly casual and i try to complete the game as much as i can, having the timer would be an annoyance and would probably turn me off the game. :/

QUOTE (timbits1o1 @ Sep 26 2010, 10:58 AM) quoteci dislike the timer idea, simply because ge.ne.sis. is a turn based strategy game, and the reason this has more appeal to me than RTS is because i can take time to think. I don't see the point of a timer on just one battle, it's all or none. Casual players like the feeling of completion too, i consider myself to be fairly casual and i try to complete the game as much as i can, having the timer would be an annoyance and would probably turn me off the game. :/QuoteEndQuoteEEndAgain if we do turn limited battle, the player still has time to think. And Turn/time limited battles are usually only for one or two segments of a game. What they do is add a feeling of, umm, urgency. Lets say you are fighting a certain machine and in a few min it will blow up. If you don't give players a set time to beat it it doesn't fit story line. The whole suggestion is to give more hard-core players more difficult fight, without making it impossible for casual players to win. All this time of battle does is add a layer of urgency. An could also make the amount of time you get based on your difficulty setting, so people on easy get more turns, while people on insane get a more stressful and limiting time fr

think that some Scenes should be voice acted. Like huge important scenes. Voice acting the whole game would take a while not to mention how much it would increase the amount of memory. This can be a turnoff when you are looking for a sponsor. I know that the guy who created Madrek 3 had issues getting a sponsor because of the game's s

Please, for the love of God, pick someone good. The High Priestess' voice in the tutorial was a bit... monotone for my tastes. However, I DID see some of that voice actress' videos on YouTube, and they were actually pretty good. Maybe she was just having an off day.Something that I would really like to see in the sequel, though, would be something like a Limit Break. As you take damage, you begin to charge a limit break meter for every main character. Each person's Limit Break would be unique, with two possibilities: One as a field skill, the other as an in battle abil
