Okay, let's get back to discussing the most fundamental issue regarding beast balance: Salamander vs Ladon. We don't want anyone to feel cheated out of a good beast right at the very start of the game.Ladon is still overpowered.1) His breath does too much damage for less energy than Salamander's,2) Agility is more important than Power in the early game due both to breath-rape and to the high number of enemies with Freeze,3) and of course he just has better movement.4) The effects of Salamander's perk are rarely even noticeable.Salamander still beats the early levels fairly easily, so he doesn't need too much of a buff, though making his perk's explosions more effective would be nice. Mainly Ladon just needs a nerf to breath. As I've said before, Ladon's breath needs to cost more, and its duration should probably be shortened a bit, too.Anyone disag

Honestly, the only really significant beast balance issue that I think remains is Simurgh being the worst of the second-tier beasts. If anything, Cyclops should be, since he's the easiest to get. I still think Simurgh should get +4 Power instead of +3; then he'd be much better. His own damage is okay with an Empathy build, but Power+Agility builds just don't get enough from him. Note that, for comparison, Cyclops gives a total of 4 stat points and Naga gives 2 stat points and a massive +20 Dodge. Also note that Power is the weakest stat at this point in the game; it doesn't become strong until you have at least 16 or
