Lol... yah... Korea has e-sports. But our most popular sports is same as Japan: Baseball. I wonder if that is why we want to be Japan so much when we do international baseball league

Regardless, all three share the same feature: very short periods of mild effort punctuated by long breaks, such that even Starcraft players have to have more stamina than people who play these sports. Football has tiny little runs between each down, basketball's quarters are extremely short, and the pitcher is the person who's constantly active in baseball. Actually, even he just sits around when his team's up to bat. So yeah. Basically, US sports are those which are designed to allow 90% of the game to be advertisements. Everything in the US is about making mo

For me, I prefer going a 14pool baneling bust. It works well against all matchups. Ie:Against Terran, it only takes 6-8 banelings to bust a supply depot, and the Speedlings go in and destroy EVEYTHING.Against Protoss, it's even easier to bust a Pylon. You'll never need more than 6, and any extras can easily clean up probes while speelings destroy everything, again.Against Zerg. Do I even need to bother? 1 Baneling= 1 dozen Acid-melted zergli
stardustdeath
Supply depots aren't problems to destroy as long as I can pincer movement them with two groups of 3-4 zerglings. It's not as cheesy as the 6 pool but it's almost as effective.I do use the baneling bust occasionally against Protoss. But more often I go Spire first so that the zealots have minimal effect against my mutas and I force them to build cannons along their mineral lines. While the Protoss attempt building up corsairs, I simply 5 Hydra Hatch them and instant victory.Against other Zerg, I only use 9 pool and just wait. They never know what hit t

I hate early pool zergs, they simply aren't even thinking strategies...But I have to admit, as a zerg teching up to ultra is difficult as fudge. I sometimes wish that lurkers are there for terrans... that would make a perfect counter for MMM...But as a zerg, isn't it just easier to go bane against MMM? That doesn't need much, and you can tell that almost always terran goes MMM against zerg for some reason... with Banshees in late game. It became too much of a standard (I'm speaking from Beta sense, since I don't have SCII yet, lol...)Never had trouble with zerg banelings as tos. I usually go slow tech stalkers & Sentinels on that particular fight, and ... what was that blocking thing again? ... is really effective in stopping baneling rushes, and stalkers usually take them out easily. Although I remember getting raped by banelings when I went my standard zealot+Sentinels+Phoenix build... needless to say, my zealots were g

Another common Terran strategy I see is Terran Mech. Siege tanks are (pardon me) FUCKING imbalanced. Consider this:I have 88 Zerglings, and he has 4 tanks, even spaced so that every tank can cover each other. I have speed, Adrenal Glands and +2 weapons and Carapace. He has nothing. I run at him. Who wins?Tanks, simply because they don't "overshoot" targets anymore after patch 13 (I think), meaning that if the tank will 1 shot a Zergling, the other tanks won't shoot the ling that is about to die. Thus, each shot from the tanks take out, like, 17 lings.88 +2/2 Speedlings lose to 4 tanks... in SCI, this would not happen. If you add even one Helion to the mix, it becomes even more lopsided. Seriously, NOTHING counters Mech if you're Zerg, because Mech Hard-Counters EVERYTHING you could possibly build.Helions > Lings, HydrasThors > Anything in the AirTanks> Anything on the Ground.Add about 8 Marines for sheer DPS, and you will crush ANYONE.Terrans
blah701
If Terrans tech up and fort up, then I go for Brood Lord, like always. They do epic damage against Terrans, and they usually come out faster than Battlecruisers, and usually you have left over corruptors to counter them. So they work pretty well against terrans when they mech. Maybe you just like too much ling
