He proposed a really interesting idea for our game world. It would be a world composed of floating continents in 7 layers, connected through the branches of a massive life tree to the core of the planet. The story behind this, from a lore perspective, is that at the center of the planet there is an extremely powerful god who is something similar to the Greek's story of Atlas. The god at the center is not happy about his eternal imprisonment in holding these continents in place, but if he were to leave, the planet would collapse. In order to protect the living creatures on the continents, seven less powerful gods have bound him within that great tree and spend their energy making sure he stays put and doesn't bring about the apocalypse by achieving his freedom. In this lore we are talking about more Greek style gods than modern god concepts. What I mean is, we're not talking about some gods being evil and others being good and pure. They're all flawed, they all make morally dubious choices. The Atlas figure is not a bad god, he has done nothing wrong, but the other gods are selfishly imprisoning him to keep their world in tact. Nothing is very clean cut, and I imagine various races will have favorite patron gods -- including some most likely worshiping the Atlas figure (trolls may
