To summarize, the series is in a slightly more futuristic Germany and focuses on bio-mechanical creatures called Demoniacs who are basically zombies that can fuse with machinery. And make said machinery even better than before. The protagonists of the story would be the anti-Demoniac team called XAT who attempt to eliminate and research the Demoniacs. And all this is happening while a bunch of OTHER Demoniacs who retain sanity who either A. Try to kill everyone or B. Try to save everyone. They are also very beastly and colourful compared to everyone else. (Coincidentally, almost all of the main characters turn into one of these by the end of the series. Equally coincidentally, only 2 main characters are actually ALIVE by the end of the series.)Here is the Wikipedia articleAnd you can watch it on Aniilinkz here(Or Crunchyroll, but I can't get it here in Australia

That and Bleach (yet another famous anime), who definitely should be in this list. But that may be only in the americas; since lots of people here are from asia, some might not know it or find it silly.BTW, that Yureka manhwa someone told about in the random talk thread is really awesome. Did anyone else take a look at it

kay, first of all, Naruto and Bleach are probably the most common introductions into anime and manga at the moment for NA kids, Gundam and Sailor Moon being about five years earlier. I myself got started on Naruto, but I feel no attachment to it as a gateway. The fact that you are attached suggests to me that you have not read/watched many other manga or anime. I'm not saying that you would stop reading it, I followed it until about a year or so ago, and got started about four years ago, but generally after you've read and watched a few, you find other favourites. I mean no disrespect, but what I'm trying to eventually get at is that everyone knows about them. This topic is mostly for good ones you may not have watched (because it's specifically anime here) otherwise, and maybe not even heard of. I'm pretty sure that by now, most people who would have wanted to watch Naruto would have alre

More on topic, what anime has everyone been following this Season?Summer Season Lineup 2011 Here's a link if you need to refresh your memory.I've watched through half of the anime that interested me here, but then dropped then and as now currently following only Mayo Chiki! ;-; The Fall lineup looks more promising, especially with the 3rd season of Shakugan no Shana being released. As for gateways, I think mine was either Inuyasha or Full Metal Alchemist(the adapted), since I liked a lot of action when I was young(around 4-5 years? can't remember).Oh and if you like Naruto, try Fairy Tail and Rave Master, since they're also good Shounen manga, as well as other suggestions from what you read on this thread. I'll also recommend Mahou Sensei Negima! If you're old enough for it, since it's still interesting to the latest chapter(335).

Short anime/manga are the good ones, and finding ones that can keep you interested is hard, imo.QuoteEndQuoteEEndCouldn't been more right. Coincidentally, i found that Angel Beats! Anime they mentioned in the start just another level compared to the rest. And it has only 13 chapters. Did anyone watch it too?And I guess that I defend both Naruto and Bleach because I don't really watch much anime, so I probably shouldn't been suggesting what is good or not... I like them because they're so diferent than what I watch or used to watch. In a good way, of course.Anyway, I still found them fun... Even if it's silly or poorly made.
