although Omnistrike lacks certain characteristics of multi-sword style.... first of all, the suspension of swords are created by magic or... whatever the anti-gravity agent is. Most multi-sword styles don't require magic, but complex maneuvering... although some are supernatural. Another factor is that Omnistrike is all-directional offensive. Munti-sword styles are usually multi-directional, but not all-encompassing... there is room for escape. The only exception would be if sword dance style was used in a single opponent using part of NSS technique... that would be all-directional attack.... but you imagine how hard you have to work to walk all those swords in circles...I'll try to explain NSS again simpler later. Okay, I'm in more of a position to talk about NSS. But I should say that it is xSS, as in x standing for x amount of swords used, XD.ConceptxSS's concept is based upon using any number of swords, probably have to be greater than 3, in a quick succession. xSS first starts with user tossing all the swords into the air, usually leaving room for the user to step into. Once the swords are tossed, the user steps into the gap that is made in the sword, or just behind the falling sword. User than grabs one sword, and quickly slashes the opponent. The sword should be the one that is closest to falling to the ground, in order to keep all the swords afloat. User then lets go of the sword that (s)he held to slash the opponent. This should be done so that the sword that was let go is now the sword that is the highest up, so that the sword can be used later than other swords. User can, depending on what type of slash that (s)he did, toss the sword as well. User then grasps the next sword, preferably the on that is falling closest to the ground. Rinse, repeat. MethodologyxSS's method lies in "walking" the sword, or cycling swords quickly. All swords must be at least accessible... which means that it cannot needlessly fall... at any given moment. Tossing the sword as a projective is acceptable method of keeping swords "afloat" in xSS, although usually xSS users prefers more of quick slash than stab, which takes more time. The key point of xSS is to make sure that you use the sword that is closest to the ground, and let go or toss the sword so that it is highest from the ground while still being accessible... or stuck in an opponent."Walking" the sword means that you have to quickly change swords within your hands to make sure that each sword is cutting the opponents. [u]xSS does not have useless moves, which means that at any time, sword must be either afloat, striking the enemy, or stuck on the enemy or terrain. xSS does not encourage juggling swords, as unlike Sword Juggling (SJ), xSS incorporates many swords (up to nine), and needless moves will tire the user significantly. "Walking" the swords also means that while the top part of the body is in a frenzy, the bottom part of the body is rather stationary. Foot movements are vital to make sure that you can keep your arms in a frenzy and maintain your balance. Overreaching is forbidden, as it breaks balance to reach other swords. In that sense, swords should be within reach within one step or less, to make sure that swords can be quickly accessed.xSS is always slash heavy, but the slashes are very light. This is because heavy strikes creates exaggerated movements, which takes times to make. In other words, you don't have enough time to cycle through each sword while making exaggerated moves. However, this doesn't bother xSS users all that much, because you can quickly cycle through each swords and slash in one place repeatedly, creating a damage that would result from one heavy slash. Although one heavy slash would've taken less effort, xSS style is often times more ideal, as opponent will not know what hit him until it is too late. In all actuality, correctly executed xSS will be able to land same damage dealt as if by heavy slash in shorter period of time.
