One of the weird things about Tiamat is that you need to already get hit to get the drain orbs - that made me intentionally take one or two of those weaker boss attacks just to keep 4 of them up. On Cancer he decided to go swiping at me way too many times near the end, and I dropped to 2 orbs. Next thing, Zodiac comes up, shoots those star things at me with the stun, couldn't recover anywhere near enough with those orbs and I died. The end.Oh and I think I remember - if you get a lower medal rank on a level, it overwrites the higher one. I would recommend bringing Chrono Matter or Life Stream and use them whenever you get hit by the Zodiac Curse. Or, bring 4 Golden Apple to toss at him to bring his HP down to 30%.If you went for endurance then you probly got Poison Immunity, which is great. Pearl pendant still helps with other statuses tho, specially Frozen.Will look into the Medal reward and make sure the lower ones won't overlap the better medal in the record.On the side note, was anyone be able to beat Zodiac Memory

What I've found is that in fact, the best accessories are the cursed pendant and arcane earrings - yes, those that enable drain attacks while disabling natural recovery (and I'm even on endurance build). The reason: natural recovery is OK-ish, but you don't have huge breathers between big enemies, you're in a boss rush for goodness sake. To even recover anywhere as fast as you need to, you need drain, straight and simple.Actually, Tiamat's 'attack carries rider specials' makes it even more fun. A single spread-shot and I'm usually looking at pretty close to full recovery. One energy drain gives 40, so connect three and throw a blossom out. Heck, I'm still purposefully taking 'weaker' hits to keep fragments/orbs up. Just trying to get through all of them without any items (saving 4 lifestreams for now).Pisces: pushover as expected, 10 seconds or so, do as you wish.Taurus: big tank with nothing dangerous - stand between the tentacles and blast his head off.Aquarius: dodge the freezer bolts, stay closer to his (?) head to avoid the beam.Virgo: you freak. Stay at the far edge of the screen to avoid silence-field damage, hate her laser spam that stops me from blasting her full-on.Aries: horrible, (with my orbs gone). Axe swipe and fire-charge are nothing to worry about (I eat axe), the fire bolts are *deadly*.Scorpio: stay on the bottom to avoid sand-storms, just come up when he telegraphs the fire bolts.Cancer: pretty much the same, claw-swipe is the most he can do to you (yep, I eat it), the wind bolts are easily avoided from the back-end.Zodiac: no idea, saw him once and got wiped.And why is Leo not in infinity space? And the fire mino looks more like Taurus (the bull) than that fat lump.Update, with more experience at it. Yes, soul blossom your way through everything, and also yes, even with Tiamat it's better to have cursed pendant/arcane earrings rather than earrings x2. Some attacks are just too dangerous to get touched with, and the base drain is useful (plus it combines with full 4 soul fragments for almost 100% drain = perma max health).I'm getting through to Zodiac about 1 in 2-3 tries, depending on if I'm careless or not. Best shot at him, almost halved him and used 2 lifestreams (third one didn't come in time). So on this particular build, it seems I'm on track with 1 stream's worth 1/4 his health. obs: Yes, I've also said that Power + Arcane Earrings seems more useful than...Empathy in general. Has anyone found an Empathy build that's worth using in place of Power + Arcane Earrings? I can't think off-hand of a beast that benefits enough from Empathy's morale boost to be worth sacrificing the overwhelming damage of Power and the much faster mana-regen of Arcane Earrings. Sisily's damage boost for beasts makes this a bit less true, but Gelyan and Neraine just don't seem to have any use for Empathy.Assuming you're willing to farm your way to Arcane Earrings, that is. I don't even know where Shapely Gems drop; I get less than 1 per playthrough on average. I'm sure dual-wielding Lady Lucks would help (though that completely screws over any non-Agility build, which is terrible), but I can't get 7 4-Leaf-Clovers without ridiculously excessive farming. It's a good thing that the most ridiculously powerful build in the game (see Chamomile's beast thread) doesn't require any high-level items, because farming each level a MINIMUM of three-to-four times to get a single item is just about the worst thing ever. I've lost all will to beta-test anything past B-class items (which I can afford without farming) unless An implements a cheat mechanism of sorts for the beta-testers. So, for you other testers, please check out A- and S-class item balance for me, kthx.Meanwhile, I don't think Azure Dance is brokenĀ at all, really.
