Which works just depends on the person playing, I guess.QuoteEndQuoteEEndTested my method (slightly varied) today; you don't need to do any of the luck manipulation rounds at all - it is a guaranteed win if you have the gely build to do soul pact and enough mana. I also managed to work in a way of getting emi to do a very special role. Will be posting a video tomorrow even

hat kind of Neraine are you building that doesn't need any luck to survive a round with Reciful?!

is the video of the deathless battle /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif"

I don't get why you keep having Emi sit around uselessly until the very end. You could've finished that fight over half a turn earlier. She adds plenty of damage with a triple Energy sphere since her Endurance is so high that, unlike Sisily, she's in no real danger of killing herself. My Blue Paradise method is still the fastest, though. /tongue.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":P" border="0" alt="tongue.gif

I am going by the logic that soul burst reduces their hp to 0, so soul bursting a tarot is the same as, say, reciful slicing it up. Beating the battle without using soul burst & a tarot disappearing would be totally different different objective/catagory in my opinion (and a difficult goal to reach). /tongue.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":P" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" />About the emi thing, i just assumed she would die against reciful if it came to a battle, and was getting tired of testing things (and redoing the dog battle) by then.Oh and what happened to the video while i was asleep? it seems to have been delete

/dry.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="<_<" border="0" alt="dry.gif" /> ) Soulbursting costs Energy, while meatshielding with Tarots doesn't. But that's okay. It was still a good video. And no, I don't know where it went.Emi doesn't die against Reciful, no. She does less damage than Sisily and has WAY more health, so if you were willing to use Sisily against him you shoulda tried Emi. /tongue.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":P" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" />Anywho, I'm pretty sure that, without the helpful glitch, beating Reciful even with Soulbursts and/or Tarot losses would be as hard as beating him with the glitch but without losing even Tarots, ie nigh-impossible without a stupid amount of retries. Though an Agility-whoring Neraine might make that luck a bit easier to handl

That or just raw luck manipulation, which, may i add, didn't work as well as i thought against reciful this time around [he hit far to often, and too hard].
EternalLurker
without the HC/SP glitch? ^_^ That'll be impressive enough.Granted, my Blue Paradise kill method would probably work just fine for that, but I'm lazy, so you can have fun using yours while I do other things. I'll get around to doing my method eventua
si.ner.ge
ait, what's the glitch? The only one I know of is when the game won't continue after you beat
EternalLurker
The glitch comes from the fact that Heaven Child's effect is implemented by setting the physical and magical HP leech rate of attacks to -50%, but Soul Pact counts as neither type of attack. Soul Pact's code doesn't have any mention of HP leeching because it's not ever supposed to leech HP (as it'd be broken if it could, since that'd counteract the effect of its HP sacrifice), so it doesn't take the -50% HP leeching. So yeah, beating Reciful without Soul Pact and without losing any non-Tarot characters is your next challenge, apjjm, or whoever else wants to try.

I was assuming that it was some funky side effect of the perks that prevented Gely from being killed...So, there's an actual glitch that EL exploits regularly?? /ohmy.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":o" border="0" alt="ohmy.gif" /> /laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" /> /happy.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="^_^" border="0" alt="happy.gif
