Please visit this link to play the game.I hope you will enjoy it and don't forget to rate it high! Time for me to get back to work. But before that, I want to say thank you to you all for your patience and continuous encouragements. It may sound cliche' but without people like you guys, I wouldn't have the motivation to make this game. So, thank you, specially to the forum regulars and you know who you are =). Love you g

Another important note would be the story development - or rather, lack thereof, as the game essentially degenerates into a giant grindfest with no more stated purpose than "kill those guys quickly before something vague but definitely horrible happens". No real plot twists, no diversity, no side-stories... all-in-all, compared to the colorful atmosphere and variety the original offered, it felt so straightforward one might call it bland. So essentially, as a game it bets most of its success on actual gameplay rather than flavor and background - aforementioned issues aside, the game accomplishes what it intends to, and gives the player a more-than-satisfactory variety of choices to pick from, giving it insane replayability value. However, two more things must be noted here: the first is the chaotic structure of the game's various menus - the tutorial fails to enlighten the player as to the real mechanics behind each, and without a thorough reading of the guide, which is masterfully made by the way, one would easily get lost and might take a - very - wrong path he might regret, especially with the absence of any convenient "reset" ways for stats and Spirit Beasts. So basically the learning curve is rather steep. The second point is one that afflicted the first game as well, though not to the same degree. The written portion of the game, and especially the guide, is littered with typographic errors, syntax, structure and grammatical mistakes, and a lot of other annoyances. No offense meant, naturally, but it just feels like it was hastily typed and never proofread at all. For certain gamers who pay a lot of attention to detail, like yours truly, such overlooks deter strongly from the overall image of an otherwise polished game.As I have no real flair or talent for such games I did not and do not intend to try past the "easy" difficulty. At that stage the game was mostly a non-challenge, being able to swoop past most levels and even bosses even with relatively random builds. The only thing that annoyed me was the Creator, whose difficulty was totally artificial and "wrong". Taking away such a big part of development as the Spirit Beast was a massive letdown and probably one of the worst flaws I found in this game. A rule of thumb is to never let the game undo what the player is allowed to choose to do - and the randomized Beast violates that law in the worst way. There are a few other things I'd generally point out, such as the lack of strong connectivity between this game and the original Ge.Ne.Sis, and the roughly-handled flow of the plot, but even with these negative points Wings of Genesis left me with positive impressions. Despite its technical flaws the enjoyability value is still very high. As a standalone game it would face much harsher criticism, but as a spin-off of the Ge.Ne.Sis story which I loved, it does not disappoint. I am, however, much more eagerly waiting for the "real" sequel, as admittedly, I preferred the first game for its tactical elements and considerably greater depth much more than this

I really didn't have time to do the editing and proof-reading of the guide this time before it was released. However, the guide is link dynamically to a file in this website so I will make sure that we edit and upload a better version of the text later. Things are rather hectic at the moment right after the release.Glad that you enjoyed the game overall. Ge.ne.sis 2: Down the rabbit holes will be more the original Ge.ne.si

kay, just to get this straight, I want to know if my chronological order of the games is correct. In my mind, it's Roots/whatever its name will be, DTRoT, ITRH, and Wings. Correct me if I'm wrong, ple

eah, that is the correct order in my script up to this point. However, since we are dealing with timeline twists here, It is possible that Roots of Genesis is *after* Wing ; therefore, they complete a cir

rgh, the timeline thing made me think of something: since there are tons of alternate timelines, is it possible for there to be more than one of the same person in e
