Today's teaser: Basic gameplay explanationWings of Ge.Ne.Sis is a sidescrolling shooter with RPG elements. Players choose a rider who will fly into battle with a special mount, a beast of your choice: you start with Salamander or Ladon and upgrade according to the aforementioned evolution chart (bottom of page 3 of this thread), and you can always revert to your beast's previous forms as well. The player character's abilities are determined by a combination of the rider, the beast, stat choices at each level-up, and items equipped. You can also bring up to 4 consumable items with you into battle, with effects ranging from simple HP and Energy refreshers to powerful fire summons and even temporary invulnerability. In combat, both the rider and the beast can launch attacks. The rider has a pair of weapons between which (s)he can switch at will, each with very different uses, and the beast will occasionally help by attacking on its own as well, though this uses some Energy and isn't entirely under the player's control; furthermore, beasts have powerful breath attacks that use much more Energy and can be activated whenever the player chooses.Next teaser (probably tomorrow, mebbe Thursday): stat summar

I answered about the attacks, though. D:quoteoQUOTE quotec of weaponsQuoteEndQuoteEEndRiders have two weapons each, and beasts have a normal attack and a breath attack. At any time you can hold the mouse button to fire your normal weapon, press a button to switch to your secondary weapon or back to your primary, press a button to fire a breath attack (which costs Energy), and just...wait...to let your beast fire its normal attack on its own.By the way, An, the YouTube video has attracted attention. Over thirty spambots have tried to register today alone. Only TMebo had a 5-letter name, though.

On the same note, let save those beast descriptions for the upcoming strategy guide for now. I think we are also good on testers number atm. There will be more to testers needed for Into The Rabbit holes, so let save the man power for that. Che

Right then, no teasers on a public forum. Teasers shall be posted in their own private section just for forum regulars. ^_^ Although I think teasers generate hype that helps a game get through the early stages of popularity, under the same principle as a trailer, but eh, your call.Talk to me on AIM or Skype or via PM if you're a regular who can't get in. If you're not a regular and you spam me with requests to read the teaser forum, I will smite you bruta
