Genesis: The Legend of Drake IsleLong ago, the world and its sisters were dark, and the sun refused to shine. The cold Earth lay sleeping for aeons, awaiting someone to come wake it up. One day, Phoenix came from a star far, far away in search of a new dwelling place. Seeing our barren and lifeless Earth, Phoenix had pity on the world, and decided to nest on the Earth. The Great Phoenix set forth across the face of the Earth and found a small, lonely island in the middle of the ocean. Nesting within the Volcano at the island's center, Phoenix spread its wings and cried out to the sky. This celestial call shook the very foundations of the planet, and the distant sun, after sleeping for so long, heard the cry of Phoenix and awoke. Within seconds, the Earth blazed with light, and life began to grow on the surface. Drained of energy, Phoenix spent what little it had left in laying her eggs. After laying the final egg, Phoenix withered and drifted away into a deep slumber. However, it would not last, for Phoenix's cry had not only awoken the sun, but also a cold, deathly soul who reigned within the polar icecaps of the world. Beelzebub, lord and master of the Darkness, did not take the arrival of Phoenix lightly. Slowly and deliberately, Beelzebub drifted to Phoenix's nest with only his rage fueling him. An epic clash would ensue between the two; light against darkness, fire against ice.

Although I hate the fact that Leviathan and Pheonix is so low in the tier build. You have to give credit that Leviathan is THE monster in Biblical mythology.... and what of Behemoth?Regardless, I love the pics. It sounds awesome. I am smiling at flying hydra though... yah... its

"Evolution" is a process that a whole species undergoes; "mutation" is the term for a single entity's adaptations. I know most people won't care, but is it too late for you to change that in the game? >_

o our knowledge, yes, mutations occur only during conception, but obviously the mechanics of this game allow for something different. Assuming those orbs are some sort of elemental fire/ice gems, they could induce a mutation in a dragon as radiation has a chance of doing in humans, I s'pose. Until we know more we can't make any real gues

From what I see, there's a little village in the middle of the islad that I assume is key to the story. And the volcano HAS to be something (duh.)And then there's something like a Pirate ship and a shrine? I'M SO CURIOUS ABOUT THI

How about we call it "upgrade" and get it over with? Mutation is all good, but I think that word, along with evolution, is overused... but EL, you got a point. It isn't an evolution, but a mutation, since one being is going through a change in genetic level, if any. But IF only they are going through genetic-level change. Otherwise it should be called metamorphosis, right?Speaking of... that is a better idea. Given the right "nutrients," the creatures undergoes certain metamorphosis to become a completely different-looking creature, much like how caterpillar becomes butterfly. To have a genetic change due to radiation of the orbs is too far fetched, and if that is the case, then there should be chance of mutation going completely wrong, since mutation is almost like a "field test" for a species to see what would happen if a certain trait would help them survive as a species. Yah.... there should be voting on this.... but you have my vote for metamorphosis.Oh, and I just noticed that Behemoth is there... how silly of m

ctually, I haven't decided on what to call this evolution/mutation process yet. Player should be able to pick a monster of lower tier if he wants to since each of the beast is special and some weaker one may be useful in certain situation. What to call it hm
