Ex.* Speedrun - beat the game in the fewest time/turns* Reciful - kill him and glitch the game* Statless - beat the game without using any stat points/perksWhat are some challenges you've tried, and what are your strategies?(PS - Wouldn't it be cool if we could get achievements for this?)I managed to beat Tale Memory on Normal, statless, after a very long, drawn-out battle that involved spamming Grand Blessing on Gely. I'm sure there's a better way. I'm also trying to beat the game without conjuring Tarots, but I'm currently stuck on the Beholder. Also, how do you avoid Reciful's counter-damage perk? I never bothered with trying to beat him, I should...EDIT: OK, I beat Reciful [on Insane], though Nera died Esis-style. Moon Waltz

However, the best way to keep your total turns down is to skip all the sidequests entirely. I'ma have fun beating the Tale Memory sans Death this weekend, I think... /happy.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="^_^" border="0" alt="happy.gif

As above, the best I've ever done is beat TM on Normal statless. I might try a speedrun, but I usually use very conservative strategies (always run away turn 1, use Priestess to heal, etc) so it probably wouldn't be very good. Also, should we have a no-deaths rule on speedrunning? Probably not...I'm not sure you can beat Battle 10 deathless without extensive resettin

Incidentally, I beat him by using the soul pact atk on gely, and a few sacrifices. If you are interested in speed running this game, there is a site dedicated to speed running games, called SpeedDemosArchive. Here is a link to do with running flash games.Usually, timing on SDA is done such that timing starts as soon as the player gains control, and ends when the player looses control (in this case the end of the game). Running the optional battles would probably be an equivalent of a "100%" category for this game.Edit: Watch the stratergy i used below:http://zoopy.com/q/2839

Trying to beat the game in as few turns as possible is a refreshing change from my usual defensive strategy. Managed it on normal (low%) with 121 turns (72 Player, 49 AI; average 4.5 turns/battle), and pure power build (OK, Magic for Sisi) for all three characters. The most frustrating parts were probably Battles 13, 20-21, and 23 (amazing how easy Cerberus is with Death's double Essence of Sorrow). 20 is particularly annoying because of how far away the Gold Heart is; considering the nature of most of the other battles (i.e. the enemy has high move and closes with you round 1), I don't think Light Steps is worthwhile.I can't imagine trying to speedrun the game in real time - retrying battles to determine whether the animation from conjuring tarots is worth it?
