You got a point. In my first time through I used sniper build, and soul bonded Gelyan was great... maybe that's why I overshadowed Fool....Regardless, what I rly don't like about Endurance build is that it overshadows Nera's abilities. Gelyan cannot stand on front without making Nera unable to attack. It really frustrates me, especially in choked maps where I cannot go two w

A Soul Bonded Power Gelyan doesn't really need the Fool, yeah. Your Black damage will already be godlike, so you're better off using the Hanged Man's magical attacks for Blue-weak enemies, although if any are vulnerable to Yellow you can always use the Fool's Thunder Rod. The Fool combos exceptionally well with an Endurance Gelyan, compensating for his low range by Castling him up to the front lines, where he can tank for the party with ease.I already addressed the issue of Neraine not being a sufficient meatshield on her own unless you're going to be very campy with the High Priestess, or else just very lucky. You're a lot better off with two. If you think choked maps don't allow you enough mobility, you're just not Castling properly. The Fool is amazing. Try using the High Priestess or Emi to get behind enemy lines and then have the Fool Castle Neraine in there to replace that u

ince I needed Sisi to usually do battery role and I'm not used to Emi's recent change in energy cost, I haven't been sending them to front line recently. I'll try that along with Magician's.... what was it again? Energy Transfer?... to allow them to go to the front line. Or I'll try Sniper Gelyan again. But thanks for the i

QUOTE (Si.Ner.Ge @ Dec 4 2009, 02:52 AM) quotecAh, that might explain it. I never really saw the sense in using Gely as a "tank" character. Since Nera is forced to melee and thus she is going to draw attacks even with optimal party positioning, I figured I may as well designate her default tank, especially considering the number of maps with chokepoints (or single bosses). Gely was almost always farther back than Sisi even.Agility I can live with, since I raised Agility inordinately during my first playthrough, but I don't like how the Eyes perks force Gely to invest in Magic (which adds nothing to his offensive power and which the girls do much much better).Wait, there's a build for Sisi besides the Pure Magic build? /tongue.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":P" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" />QuoteEndQuoteEEndActually, Soul Pact (along with well-timed Blue Paradise when the Tale spams Broken Field Attack,) makes Endurance Gelyan quite the viable field attack tanker against Tale Memory, despite White weakness. With him, my Balanced Nera (call me unoriginal, but I use the official builds,) managed to beat Tale Memory WITHOUT Soul Bond. (NOte: Blue Paradise actually allows Nera to use a hybrid Moon Waltz: Moon Waltz 1-2 times, savor the OVER 9000 [and probably over 10,000] damage to Tale Master, and it essentially means TONS of bonus energy.)And if you REALLY want to feel epic win, go to YouTube and find Solaris Battle Part 2 on Truesonic1's channel. Turn off sound on Ge.Ne.Sis and begin fighting Tale Memory. Turn on the music/Youtube video when you reach the battle grid. Beat Tale Memory. Receive epic win and save transfer thingy. Vo
