It had to be said.

CLAMP is awesome!

Manga include such popular titles as:
xxxHolic
Tsubasa: Reservoir Chronicles
Chobits
Cardcaptor Sakura
and Magic Knight Rayearth.

If you disagree, then you deserve to die.

Yeah, CLAMP's done lots of stuff. I wonder if they'll even do something I like one day.

As much as I could stand of Cardcaptor, Chobits, and xxxHolic. Which admittedly was very little of each.

Maybe it's taste. What type of manga/anime do you like?

It's plot pacing. CLAMP's stuff starts off too slowly for my taste. I just don't have the patience to stick with something knowing it'll get better eventually; I want it to be good from the start. That's the same problem I had with Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu and Higurashi no Naku Koro ni; the difference in those cases was that someone I knew and trusted (a different person in each case) assured me it really would get better later, so I put up with the slow beginnings. I don't know anyone who likes CLAMP and whose opinion I trust, so I have no incentive to do the same here.

xxxHolic can be quite boring at points, and Chobits is really about fanservice, but Cardcaptor Sakura is good, as with Magic Knight Rayearth and Tsubasa: Reservoir Chronicles. Maybe I just like reading too much.

I like how it's all EL/ Mokona...
That being said, COMBO BREAKER! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Anyways, I like CLAMP's work. I especially liked CCS, which I count as one of my favourites. I remember watching it when I was in about Gr. 5 or 6, and, although it was the English Version, I was totally enthralled with it. CLAMP's got a pretty good thing going on, with their little Multi-verse going on.

Late comment, but: Yay, Chamo likes CLAMP! I agree, Cardcaptor Sakura was a (stunning) masterpiece, and probably their best work. Tomoyo was particularly awesome. Poor, poor Tomoyo.

The things I find most interesting about CLAMP are their sequel series (such as MKR II and CCS: Master of the Clow), and the Tsubasa/xxxHolic crossover plug series (they also had a plug for MKR and Angelic Layer and other manga in the Chobits manga, but you had to read the newspaper articles at the end.)
